They're here, the mullet run.  The last 3 days have been furious, snook, bluefish, jack, tarpon & ladyfish.non stop action.  Nothing big but some of the jack have been 10-20# but mostly 2-3# & slot snook.  Bluefish being caught by the bucket( limit 10 ).

Conditions ideal, plenty of bait,25- 30mph winds out of the east with a NE swell, surf about 4-5 and no seaweed.

you need to post pictures, SIR.

oh... to be able to fish as much as you.. One day..

5:00 am, black out, 30 mph winds, 6 foot surf, getting wet with fast action, taking a pic or even carrying a camera for me is out of the question and no else has one either. Holding a 10# fish with one hand and snapping a photo with the other does no justice to the catch, you can only see part of the fish.

I did catch about a 15# Jack under daylight benign conditions last week and a passerby took my my pic with a phone, the sob never mailed me the pic.....lol.

The purpose of the post is for local fisherman to know what's going on and maybe for them to get in on the action.

Have the mullet showed up thick in Lake Worth south or are they still up north?

I haven't been to LW, just Boynton and there are mullet, but not that thick.  Tuesday was a great day, lots of blues and lots of people.  Wed & Thursday the winds were a good 30mph with too much seaweed to fish the beach, just had lot small jacks off the pier and a couple of snook on the outgoing.
