My Ice Fishing Sled

Featured Replies

I made this sled for transporting everything I need out on the ice.  It has rod holders I made in it.  The box comes off the bottom so I can attach it on the back rack of my 4 wheeler and not have to pull a sled when I go somewhere I can use the 4 wheeler.  Today I fished at place where 4 wheelers are not allowed, even though the ice is 16 inches thick.

Very cool. Love to see people busy building something REALLY useful. Is that lunch in there too? Can I go?

Unless it's all real flat, you might need to lower the center of gravity a bit. But I guess you'll see.

Yes, you may find you need to lower the CG (Center of Gravity) but otherwise, it's a great job.  I should be so organized.  Good luck with the fishing!

I have not had any problems with center of gravity. It does not tip easy.  I can use the top for an extra table, and yes that is lunch in there, a ribeye steak.  Thanks for the comments.
