We managed to probably catch an estimated 200 stripe today. We just floated the bank for probably a half mile or longer 2 different times and at times we were catching them every cast. It was a gorgeous day and getting to spend quality time with my 86 year old grandfather plus the numbers we caught today will be something i never forget. I even managed  to grab a largemouth hanging out in about 3 foot of water near a fallen tree that was submerged in the water. I thought for sure when it hit that it would have been a crappie. I was surprised when he jumped!

if he caught 200 in a day, it sounds like white perch to me

White bass, probably.  Common name for them.

We were catching every other cast for about 5 hours. With three people in the boat the numbers really add up. I didn't realize stripe was a regional term...lol.
