Went and visited the folks for the annual family reunion on Hilton Head, and booked a trip with my guide as I always do.

Let's just say the excursion was a good one :)

    Actually a Tarpon is the world's biggest herring.

    Here in Florida it is no longer acceptable to take them out of the water for unhooking or photos, unhealthy for their organs.

    Now thats a nice Tarpon.  I've caught a bunch of them, but nothing that size.  Looks like it's at least 140-160.  Great fish.
