I picked up a couple of YZ 3D Flat Cranks.  They look really nice.  Anyone use these?  Look like they might be nice smallmouth baits.

The have a reflective element inside, like the newer Rapalas.

Wow,makes me wonder where rapala got their idea now.

I have no experience with these Yo-Zuri baits...but I did nail (4) keepers on their lipless crank today.

So needless to say I would be willing to try some more of their offerings.

Their Pin's Minnow is a great little dink magnet/trout slayer.

Those cranks are great and have that perfect little threadfin profile.I have used a few times and had success.

The suspending 3-d minnow and the floating crystal minnow are great too.

The topwater bannana boat minnow(walker) and the zz pop popper are junk! Look nice and thats all your paying for.

The Crystal Minnow has been a good producer for me.

Too funny. I found a Crystal Minnow on the bank of Lake of the Ozarks this past weekend. I changed out the hooks and it looks as good as new. I've never tried Yo-Zuri hardbaits, but now I will.

I've had good luck with Pin's Minnow Black/Orange.  I also had a Blue/Black/Silver and never caught a thing...

They run pretty shallow, and I get better results from a Fat A or Rapala DT...

Use crystal minnows for stripers

Peacock bass love the suspending and floating crystal minnows.

The problem with using Yo-zuris for peacocks, though, is that (1) the baits are rather expensive and (2) the peacocks, being peacocks, crush them (literally).

Reflective inserts have been in fishing lures as long as they have been making them out of polycarbonate. I have bombers that I bought in the 80's that have reflective inserts and I know they weren't the first.

I've got some Yo Zuri lipless cranks and they are really nice, too.  The new(er) Hardcore Drums are super loud.  I can hear them reverberating on the hull of my boat 20 feet away.   They have great hooks on them.  Their Rattl'n Vibes are loud, too.  They run very true, have tough finishes, and have a very realistic profile.

Because the guy mentioned smallmouth, and I've gotten better results fishing those for small mouth than I have Pins Minnow.  They are both crankbaits, just different profile, one's fat and short, one is long and slender...

I have to give another Vouch to the yozuri Pins Minnow, definitely my go-to confidence bait.  It might not catch the biggest fish, but i have caught my PB Large mouth on one at 5#'s.
