have any of you used these?

Featured Replies

My neighbor caught a 9.5 largemouth on the Wave Industries Tiki Snake. (simmilar thing)

I gave him a 4/0 EWG and he fished it weightless. When I use them I go with a 4/0 or 5/0 EWG and T-rig it wheightless or with a small bullet weight.

I don't use 'em too often but that one sure hit it hard!

I'm thinking about buy some of these, but are they any good? What size hook should i use for them, i found a 7/0 owner worm hook, you think that will do, or to big? :-?

That 7/0 hook is too big but would work...  you are better off with a 2/0 - 5/0 (depending on brand and style) since the body of that bait is only about 5" long.  It's basically a lizard with no arms/legs and an extra long tail.

I dont think it will float anything larger than a 3/0, maybe a 4/0.

Definitely not if you want that thing to float.

I can't tell how thick the body is, but if a 5/0 offset (not EWG) hook works I'd use that.
