has anyone heard, what the BFL mountain div, is going to do about the pull down at Lake Cumberland. 10 feet below winter pool ,

  Welcome to the forum.     The news of Wolf Dam is just now surfacing.   Since this is breaking news to the community and surrounding areas, I'm sure the BFL is also just learning about this.

I would expect that this event will be moved soon, as to allow for anglers to make plans accordingly.

The impact will be horrific for all those that enjoy this lake.   Its estimated that 90% of the ramps will be unuseable, with the low waters, temps will rise and large fish kills are already predicted, and most marinas will be high and dry.

I can't blame them, the dam is one mile long and the stress crack is in a bad place, very low on the dam.     Tenn and Kentucky would suffer greatly if the dam gives away.   The dam was built in 1950.
