Did anyone try out the mosquito hawk?  New Cal rig bait, that fish dont see that much.

I dont think this bait is new. I bought some over a year ago but never caught anything.

I'm sure it will work if you give it a chance!

They are not new.  I used some around ten years ago on top of heavy cover instead of a buzzbait.  They caught some good fish, yet not overly impressive.  It could be a good choice during a mayfly hatch, though.

I too remember using these about ten years ago. Caught some fish on them, using them unweighted, on a spinning rod, and c-rigged. I remember being disappointed when I clouldn't find them. The originals were Mann's, I think. Not sure about that. Who makes these. They look a little bit different. I don't remember the ribbed body, for one thing.

The Mosquito Hawk was a Mann's bait that was out many years ago and was discontinued.

Now, it has been redesigned and reintroduced by Mann's.
