Among many changes to come, B.A.S.S has named Dave Mercer the new Master of Ceremonies for all the Elite events, replacing Keith Alan.

Most will know Mercer from the Facts of Fishing TV show that he hosted.

This is a step in the right direction for B.A.S.S. in my opinion.

I liked Keith Alan though. Not sure exactly who Dave Mercer is.

I like Dave Mercer a lot more than Keith Allan.  Keith annoyed me to no end with the way he would announce the events.  I'm sure Dave will annoy some, but I'm sure I can tolerate him more than I could Keith.

bLee, youtube search Dave Mercer. He'll be a big hit with the fans. I think it's a huge improvement.

Should be a good improvement.  Mercer likes to put on a good show.  He did a great job at the Texas Bass Classic.

wish Fish Fishburne was selected.

Ok looked at some of his videos. Great guy. Can't complain. I'll take your word for it and say it is a good thing :)

A local Canuck and a super nice guy. Excellent!  8-)

X2

But I will google  videos of Dave Mercer

Dave looks like a great choice. I have met Keith though, and he's a great guy that'll help you with anything. Going to miss him.

I have tried to find it, but to no avail. I think I watched a YouTube video of Dave catching a fish on just a bare jig head...with some sort of attractant if I remember correctly?

Or, I could be thinking of an entirely different person lol.
