Lucky Craft RC Wake

Featured Replies

I bought one in copper shad before I left to come back over here but didn't get a chance to use it.  Anybody on here ever throw one?  I love the RC 1.5 crank and I thought the wake looked pretty sweet so I picked one up while I was in Nashville.

Wow...so I guess NOBODY has used an RC Wake???

Not me, how does it run?  For me, a good wake has to be able to creep.

I have used the RC wake, I have 3 of them so far. These, can be very productive baits when the fish are in shallow grassy flats. I generally consider this option during overcast weather when there is a 5 to 10 MPH wind.  The one that has been the most productive for me especially in stained water has been the Excalibur Wake Bait, they will at times crush this bait. This bait really really calls them out, when you see this bait in the water you'll see what I'm talking about. Give both of these baits a try, if you use them in the right situations I think you'll be pleased.

I picked up the RC 3.5 wake, American Shad, earlier this year and threw it 3 weeks ago. I caught 2 off of it running it along a drop-off. It seemed to run better at a slow retreive. I wish they made it in a red craw color.

I really like the RC series and have one in each size.  but not a waker. sorry.

I've got a spot in FL that I'm gonna hit while I am on leave in Feb (ish) that has submergent grass about 1ft. below the surface.  I figured this bait would slay 'em over that stuff.
