anybody hear of NAFC?????

Featured Replies

has anybody ever heard of the North American Fishing Club (NAFC)?...i got a letter in the mail saying i had been selected to be a member and apparently they get so much fishing gear/accessories from manufacturers that they ask members to test them out... it sounds pretty cool, but i don't want to be roped into some sort of scam...they are based out of Minnesota and the dues are $12 a year...what do you guys think?

there also is a magazine and unlimited access to their website included in the membership.

I AM LIFE MEMBER OF NAFC. ITS OK I GUESS. I MEAN I PAID MY DUES AND I GOT A DIAWA 2 PIECE ROD AND A DIAWA SAMURAI REEL. THEY SENT ME BOOKS LIKE EVERY FRICKIN WEEK WHICH IS $25 BUCKS A POP. BUT SOME ARE GOOD READS AND OTHERS ARE OUT DATED AND REPETITIVE. BUT I DO ENJOY READING THE MAGAZINE. THE PRODUCT TESTING IS SOME WHAT OF A JOKE I THINK BUT THATS MY OPINION. IF I HAD IT ALL OVER TO DUE AGIAN I WOULNDT DO IT. I COULD HAVE BOUGHT A COUPLE OF CARROT STICKS WITH THE MONEY I SPENT. HOPE THIS HELPS

I wouldn't waste your money on it.  There is only a small percentage of people chosen to do the actual testing of products.  The books are not worth the money either.  I got a similar offer and threw it in the garbage.

They still harassing me to date.(almost 2 years)

They sent me something and now i won't give it back or pay for it.Besides the constant harassing for "payment" which i just throw right in the garbage now.I won't even read them. They stopped sending me crap because of it.I couldn't be happier....I got tired of the garbage they sent me expecting me to pay for it.It was costing me gas just to run to the post office returning crap.

I'll soon be making a phone call to cancel my name off their entire system and tell them to go suck it.
