The title is a joke, ha ha ha. I did make the paper though.

I was fishing Sunday and this guy with a big honkin camera walks up to me. He starts asking questions about how the fishing is, is the pond any good etc.... Then he says he is a camera man for a local paper, and asks if he can photograph me for the paper while I am fishing off of the bridge. I said sure, and started towards the bridge with my rods. As I was heading over to the bridge, he snaps a few pics of me walking and posted the pic below instead of the pics of me fishing. I really wanted to get a fish while he was there, but it just didn't happen. I got to try out my new raingear too. I just had the parka on since it wasn't pouring, and I wasn't in a boat I didn't see the need to put on the bibs too.

Sort of looks like the 2 lower ponds at deer lakes, but nope.

I don't like deer lakes.  Fish are all small and I can never get anything there.  But then again I have only fished there twice and at both ends of the weather extremes.  A hot summer day, and a few weeks ago when it was cold in the Pittsburgh area.

i was hitting deer lakes this spring, i caught some decent size lmb for the size of the ponds

bummer that it closes down so early in the summer

i wanna try some top water action there this year

I hear that the upper Deer lake had some big bass in it but they drained it a few years back.

 

ive been with the kbbc circut last 2 years

we missed the classiic last year by like 4 spots

but weve been making lots of progress

were hoping to make the classic this year

Thats cool, I may fish with that circut next year, or 2009.  Depends on if I think I am ready.  A couple guys in my club fish with kbbc, as well as my neighbor.  What are the entry fees like for kbbc?

Is the 110 per person, or per boat?  I just got a boat last October.  It is quite used though.  It is a 16 foot 83 Hydro Sport with a 110 evinrude.

we had a 14 foot starcraft with a 9.9

then 3 years ago we moved up to a 17 foot tracker with a 60

we were in hog heaven then untill the first tourny at raystown when we saw all those big shiney rigs

we got motor *** lol

look me up some time  we can wet some lines

It isnt bad, needs some work though.  I still dont have it on the water.

We'll have to get out one of these days, maybe this spring.

I got my picture in the paper when they anounced the 2005 Bass Masters Classic was coming to Pittsburgh. I was fishing down town by the stadiums. Got a paragraph about me in the article to. Its hanging in my Game room now. Keep that picture it will always bring a good feeling to you.

Mosquito lake is my home lake... Boy was that a tough lake to figure out, but once you do it produces pretty well...

We fished for 10 grand there last year and did terrible..  That lake is the biggest dink fest in ohio IMO though...
