While I was looking for the lost rod......

I have gone back to the cove where I lost my GlX/TDZ combo several times.  I ran into my young friend who said he had his dad have also looked with no luck.  Anyway.  It's time to say "adieu"  It's lost and that's the way it goes.

The wind was really howling today.  Very difficult conditions, so I went with a 3/4 ledgebuster and caught this nice lber.

Also caught a two on a baby bass.  and a few incidentals on worms.

Avid, maybe your young friend did find your rod and...........???

If I thought for a moment he would do that, I wouldn't have told him which cove I lost it in.  I'm not naive, but you have to trust someone sometime.

That pic looks like you are wearing some bling-bling on your shades cuz of where the spinnerbait blades are in the pic! We're all in trouble now fellas...Avid has started to go gangsta on us! Just wait...right now it's just sunglasses bling. Then it'll be the diamond grill, the "krunk" juice, and further pimpin' his canoe!

Weeeeeeee...cabin fever is in full swing here...can ya tell? Sorry 'bout the combo though man. Oh well. At least ya tried to find it. Just gotta chalk it up as one of those "$#!% happens" experiences. At least yer still catchin' feesh and enjoying tyour time on the water. ;)

Well I'm happy your catching them cause all I'm catching are snow bass out in the front yard. I was thinking and maybe this is way out of the question but maybe you could go to a Scuba school around where you live and see if they would take a shot at finding your rig for a donation or something or you could take a few lessons yourself and then find it on your own. Just an idea Anyway nice fish

I live in a private community.  Swimming and diving in the lake is not permitted.

Not that it would matter.

My lake is so full of weeds that once something goes over, even if  you know the exact spot it can be hard to find and dangerous to try.

In my case.  I know that I fished the outfit entering the cove (approx 25 acres) and when I was gathering my stuff to leave, It was gone.  So I have no idea where it is.

I've gotten pretty good at "letting it go"  I acutally miss the reel more than the rod at this point.

I'm blessed to have an ample supply of high end equipment so It's all good.

I was lucky.
