today i finally got to go out an fish some......over about an hour an a half i got 3 ..........2 one an a half punders an 1 half pounder pretty good for february in my book ;D didnt get any pics

Ha well you faired much better than I did.  I got out last weekend and was completely skunked.  I mean not even a hit.  What lake, depth, and tactic were you using?  The lake that I fish the average depth is around 100ft.  So in February all the fish hold deep.  Congrats on the day out though!

well i live in delaware so there arent many lakes however my cousin lives near a pond approximatly 5 acres big and on average its only about 2-3 feet deep with a few really deep pits....two of the fish were in an area about 10-16 deep and then another was in only a few feet of water.......dont know why they hit them while its this cold but we were fishing in line spinners with a steady slow retreive

Good job on getting out and fishing. I want to get out soon, but i have to get my new rod and the lakes and ponds are just finishing freezing around us. But soundsl like it could be a good year for you. Good luck.
