lol,...there's a "no booze" rule on my boat (especially with 36 degree water),...you'd never know it, eh? lmao

No need for alcohol in the boat, you guys must have hit the bottle plenty ahead of time to go out in that stuff especially without wearing a lifejacket.  You're all nutz in New England!  I cancelled our trip Saturday because my hands got numb just getting the boat ready (I know wimp).

Very cool dude, but I wonder, would it have been quicker raising the motor and using the boat as a sled, hmmm...

maybe if it had skate blades under it but boats don't slide on ice like you'd think.  Besides,...good fishing should be earned.  (it paid off  later in the day ;) )

"no booze in the boat rule"

Now as a retired marine our rule is overcome and adapt.  Having said that I would not bring booze in your boat, i would tie it up with a stringer and drag it along behind, and use a very long straw....I mean that would be the mookified way of dealing with this scenario!!!

The only thing more nuts than fishing in that poop is knowing you have a buddy who is down enough to be talked into such insanity.....KUDOS to you both and Good Luck!!

It almost gets to the point sometimes where if you have an "uneventful" time getting to the lake, it's just not worth it.  They ain't biting. ;D ;D

But that day you really have to work to get there ..... watch out

jomatty- sorry, hence the word "teaser",lol.  Nothing crazy, we were pretty pumped to have caught at all but there were 2 in the boat that day, credit going to the new secret jighead /finesse worm combo that stratosdadri hooked me up with at the CAST tourny.  Other than that....ya gotta wait for the video.

:)

KU- Man,...are we on the same page,...bigtime.  I'm a believer in "earning" them too.

I swear LBH,  either you guys are dumber than a box of rocks or you have the  fishing "Jones" worse than anyone I've ever seen.   :o :-/
