Beautiful fish.  Job well done. Congrats.  I guess with water temp of 22 degrees Celsius and still at pre-spawn is a bit strange. Last few cold fronts are to be blamed I think. Maybe next full moon...

Congrats on the awesome fish! I would think that the fish have allready spawned with the water temp. beeing 22 C. They have finished spawing here and the water is 18-19 C.

Great outing my friend , i hear a 6 pounder calling u soon

Kouris bass are in spawning and post spawning phase , i know its stange

The water at Kourris warmed very rapidly - from 17C it jumped to 22 C in about four days following the recent heat wave (34-38C air temperatures during the day). I am afraid that the bass that have not yet laid eggs might not do so, or if the eggs are laid, they might not hatch properly..

i think i've seen some spawing activity yesterday very close to shore. yesterday it was the first day of the moon.

I like your "modified" post. One can never be too careful. You never know who is watching!

By the way you could use your paint software to blur the background. See photo below:

Well , my apologies to all the forum members for modifying my post. if anyone would like an explanation please send me a PM.

No need to apologise my friend.  You just protect your hobby.  I do exactly the same.

I was serious about blurring the background of your photos.  Everybody protects their secret honey holes.  So don't feel bad about it.

Keep up the good work.

Cybassman , to be honest i do not have a problem revealing my secret honey holes provided that  the person who go there will exercise catch & release. As you know in Cyprus there are people who do not respect...
