AT LAST!!! On a jig!!!!!

Featured Replies

Finally, after years of trying to catch a bass on a jig, I got two this morning. Caught 2 just under three pounds swimming a Jewel Bait Co. Pro Spider Jig by some grass. Had a Zoom Mini swim chunk on as a trailer. Was using a Shimano Coriolis Med. heavy combo with 20 pd Berkley Iron Silk. It was also unbearably hot around 98 degrees, so, after catching a total of six, I called it a day.

LUCKY. I fish jigs all time. I have only caught 5-6 fish on them though. Started fishing them in january and haven't taken em off since. I get bites sometimes, but when I do its like the fish just wont have the whole bait in their mouths, or I'm just too slow.

Good job, I just started fishing with jigs late last year. Now, this year more than half of my fish and my pb have came on them. It really helped when I gained confidence in it.
