Featured Replies

I came across this bait and was wondering if anyone has tried them. They look like a really good bait and have some good looking colors. Has anyone tried these?

Its a nice looking lure i have never used them

thewayweball02,

Took a look at the site.  Have not used them.  Look like cross between Kreature and Ika bait.  Probably be good where you are.  At $4.20 would I buy these or Kreatures?  hmm.. kreatures are more expensive.

These Yamamoto ikas and kreatures, according to Don Iovino,  have been used very successfully in last year because the fish have not seen them before .

About all I know.

I was under the distinct impression that the vixen was a spook/sammy walking style topwater.Guess you can never stop learning. ;D

It's like a sammy.  pm fourbizz for deails.  I think he's used them

I have a couple of these and they are an outstanding walking bait and in my topwater arsenal they are a great complement to the Spook's & Sammy's that I already own. It's an easy bait to walk and it has a unique sound, I throw it when I want a noisier walkin' bait than the other the other choices that I have. I also like the Jackall Bonnie which seems to roll a little bit more.

Almost bought one before. BTW haven't posted in a while... good to be here

STOP RESURRECTING THREADS! THIS ONE IS 4 YEARS OLD! AND YOU REPLY WITH "X2"? WTH?

The Vixen is awesome. In that general size, I wont throw a sammy or a spook anymore. Very distinct sound. Fish like it.

I have a vixen too, it's loudest walking bait I have. It walks very easily, has some cool colors.  As far as I can tell, you'll do just as well on a Heddon Spook or Cultiva Tango Dancer, and save money in the process...

i love them. i have the golden shiner, chartuese shad, bluegill and they have all produced big fish for me. they haven't replaced my spooks (yet) but i use them because they make a totally different sound than the spooks. reaction innovations makes some seriously good baits!
