infidel- i actually tried really hard to gain weight, its impossible!! I ate like a pig and lifted every day. I got up to 140lbs, but shrank back down to 132 after track season. I didnt get big, but i got my bench press up to 195lbs, which is totally necessary for hoisting monster fish like this.

Like I said, I'm just screwing with you.  It think it is just funny because the stereotypical bass fisherman has a few pounds to lose.  Enjoy it while you have it.

I'm in the same boat as RocknFish, I'm 19, just hair shy under 6ft, and weigh 140. For about 3 years I was stuck weighing 125-130. No matter what I eat, no matter if I drink weight gainer, or whatever, just can't get past the 145 mark. I'm sure that will change, but I'll enjoy it for now.

Great fish, if I had to guess I would say it is 6 lb. 15 oz.  ;)

You guys don't have to feel alone any more.

Shortly before my 39th birthday I finally managed to get 135# packed onto my 5' 10" frame. For 20 years I was stuck at 115 to 125.

The weight will come guys believe me.  ;D

I weighed a whomping 148 lbs when I graduated highschool.

I'm now 27 years old and have flucuated between 198-210 for the past four years.

Now I can't lose that gut!!!  :'(    :)

Congrats. Healthy looking Michigan bass. Must be a good year for big bass in MI because I've been seeing more 5lbs or better fish than I remember over the last few years.

BTY, it looks like you could use a cheeseburger.  Perhaps you should have kept one of those for dinner Wink

Just kidding dude!  You are just making us all look bad.

That's the way a lot of people used to look... before McDonald's came on the scene. >:(

Later on you'll wish you could get to that weight, believe me, I know.

BTW GREAT fish, I'm jealous

Don't worry, when you go over the 30 year mark, gaining weight will be so much easier and the closest thing to a six pack you will see will be the beer you have on the boat.

Outstanding.

Out of all the posts I enjoy reading on BassResource.com, the "new pb's are my favorites.

I love it when a member, especially a new member catches his biggest fish .....yet!!
