Caughta 4lb bass and a couple small 75lbers

Featured Replies

But I also caught one big one that I estimate around 150lbs. We tried to weigh the small ones but they bottomed out the 50lb scale and they were only about half way out of the water so I guestimate them at around 75lbs

Cool! What do you guys do with those stingrays?

Matt:  Have you lost(compared to your avatar) weight?  Scary looking 'fish' :o.

Dan

Way to go Matt.  That has to be the biggest Bat Ray I have ever seen!  Good looking Calico too!

All Rays were released and mostly unharmed except for a couple small gaff holes. They should be fine.

No Dan I havenent lost any weight. I have been at around 210-215 for the last ten years except the weight has migrated from my chest and shoulders to my gut  :'(

That's awesome Dude & I would have never thought to use beef jerky as bait  ;)

I once heard that "sea scallops" were cookie cutter cuts from sting ray wings.
