I would like to thank everyone who took the time to answer my questions and offer advice in the past few days. I went out and picked up some rat traps and shad raps this weekend. I just got bacck from the pond for my lunch break and caught 3 bass in about 45 minutes on the sr-5 shad rap in shad color. It took me about 10 minutes playing with the bait to find out what they wanted. Although they were all dinks ( biggest about a pound) my confidence shot up and I now have a great respect for the shad rap. Once again thanks.

    Great to see you listened to our advice. The water is getting cloudy right now and the bass love cranks that make a noise... you will have great luck with those baits the next couple months....
