Skunked!!

Featured Replies

What appeared to be an absolute beautiful day to go fishing was very unproductive :'( The wind picked up to about 15-20mph (a little too much for a jon boat!) There were beds with fish all the way down the 2 mile canal.... however were extremely skidish!!! I threw everything in my tacklebox at these guys... I guess you win some and you lose some....

You are right you win some and loose some! At least you can't say you didn't try.

The way I see it:

It's better to be on the water and not catch anything than to sit at home and do nothing!

it's a pelican intruder 12'...  it's perfect for the small lakes and canal systems here in florida...   30-36lb trolling motor pushes two people plus gear just fine...   pretty stable too.  best $200 I've ever spent!   ;D

I hear you on the wind. We had 20-30 mph here but I caught a few saturday. I will post them tonight. It was fun riding those waves though.

thanks!  fits on my patio so when I feel it's time to fish, I can drop it in the water and I'm off in less than 10 minutes!!
