Woooo this is really late, but I feel like posting it up anyways...2 weekends ago at Gaston we did fairly well. Water was in the high 40's, and we saw 50.

Caught 6 fish, all on jigs. Biggest was 5.2 lbs. Brother caught 4 and I caught 2. My 2 were 5.2 and around 3.5 lbs, and his were a little smaller.

We pulled up to our 1st spot, and 3rd or 4th cast my brother had one on, and I netted it. Next cast, he catches another same size. I netted it again, and threw out right behind him and caught the 5 lber. This is where I caught the 3.5 lber the next day as well. It's a nice roadbed right out in front of a dock, really neat spot. Seemed perfect for the pre spawn fish.

The water was unusually low, and I thought they would be letting water in from Kerr but they didn't the whole time we were there. I'm sure the water is back up though...

hmmmm i wonder why that report is so late . I am glad my angler could finally catch some fish but you are always get the big ones. I wonder if it has anything to do with you front ending all the time jk

edit: forgot, nice fishing overalls they really match the Famous coat your wearing : but the overalls are pretty cool
