Picky, picky, picky...

Featured Replies

I fished at Lake Munson here in the Tallahassee area today. Man, the fish were picky. They were holding really tight the the old duck blinds and the cypress trunks and you had to drop a worm or a Senko right on their heads.

I did come up with this one but I lost two others at least this big:

Of course I did have some competition from this big girl:

Nice fish.  Sorry you lost the others.  Still sounds like fun.

The gator would not be competition - would conceed and run.

Nice fish!

This was the boldest gator I had ever seen.  She didn't move a inch when I got the boat within about ten feet of her to take her picture.

I no longer hang out with gators.... I took my 12ft jon in the everglades when a 14-15 ft gator surfaced beside me :o They see alot of people at holiday park and they come right up to the boat... needless to say I'm glad "Mr. Johnson" started up on the first pull!! :D

I had been considering getting a 12' fishing kayak for fishing this type of water but, after seeing the size of the gators in Lake Munson. I thought better of it.
