Live Nightcrawlers--Weedless???

Featured Replies

I have had very good luck with live nightcrawlers in my lake. However, there are some areas that have weeds, rocks, etc. that look very promising but I get hung up dragging the bottom with a hook/nightcrawler. I have even tried a bobber to keep it off the bottom to prevent snags. Is there a way to fish live nightcrawlers weedless?? Do weedless hooks work?? Any other ideas?? Thanks for all the help on my "novice" questions!!

I have used plastic worms but the live ones have worked better.
