Going out on a limb

Featured Replies

Whats the furthest you've ever gone to retrieve a lure?

Here was today's:

The people present started laughing (thats why the camera started shaking) and I started laughing (I had a knife in my mouth).

Rendered helpless with laughter, I lost control and was forced to retreat. Second attempted was a success and I retrieved 2 weights, a Gamy hook and a trick worm: without even getting my boxers wet. :)

BTW That is known as the "sloth" maneuver. lol

Its worked many times for me.

You kind reminded me of Mowgli from The Jungle Book.

That's great! I was thinking the same thing! ;D

I have stripped down to my boxers and swam to retrieve my favorite Zara Spook.  The water felt pretty good so I didn't really mind.

Seems like a lot of effort for a hook, some weights and a worm, unless they were tungsten weights, those things are expensive.
