Went to this new lake caught my pb and another nice fish 5 casts later on a white/chart spinner bait

    Yeah went gannons the next day my dad got a 7' 9'' carrot stick boy duckett and we got a bunch of spinner baits lft magic shads jigs cavitron buzzbaits going to be fun.

    Will i need trailer hooks?

    Right on! I think trailer hooks are a matter of preference. Personally, I don't use them on buzzbaits (spinnerbaitsnow thats another story ;)).

    So you do you them in spinner baits, I caught both bass on a booyah spinnerbait which has a long BIG hook i like them for the money

    Too bad :-/ i never had a scale but i have really big hands and my hand could fit in its mouth

    All bass were done spawning

    Yeah, I do use trailer hooks on spinnerbaits about half the time.

    Thanks it was a good feeling that finally after winter catching it. I think i may have to go buy some trailer hooks. :P

    I'm guessing you caught this by accident while fishing for pike? seeing as the season isn't open for bass. What lake you guys fishing?... you must live near the Oshawa area if you went to gagnons. I live in Bowmanville. Cant wait for the season to open!!! I cant even fish the opener... I got a stupid wedding to go to  >:(

    I live about 10 minuets west of oshawa i'm going to be fishing opener too lake dalrymple.
