Featured Replies

im ordered some trick sticks (never used em) through *** , and at $2-2.50 a bag , im snagging up 5 or 6 bags of em.

obviously it will take me a bit to go through them , what is the proper way to store them?

See th senko FAQ right above your post.

They will store just fine in the plastic bags if you aren't leaving them in the heat all day or something, shouldn't be a problem this time of year.  I use a 4/0 hook on the 5" ones.  I've never used the smaller ones.

hmm favorite color...i'll go watermelon pearl laminate.

hm. would it be safe to say , that generally you'd want the point of the hook right around the center of the bait?

i was kidding on the favorite color , lol.

one more thing, anyone use these in saltwater?

My general guide is to use a hook with at least double the gap of the bait's diameter. For Senkos in 3"-4"-5", I use extra-wide-gap hooks in 2/0, 3/0 and 4/0.

May as well throw in my .01 for the heck of it.

My preference for hook sizes would be x-wide gaps in 3/0 for 5",

2/0 for 4",and a size 1 for the 3".

As for storing them try to keep them or any plastics from extreme heat.Moisture is worse.Don't throw used ones back in the bag unless they are dry. This is a bigger issue for GYCB brand though.

thanks guys.

;)

the faq is a great source of info on soft stick baits. as for color, i dont think it matters. i prefer wm. low budget has made a vid that clarifies this. hook wise, look into 4/0 gammy offset for the 5 inchers, 2/0 for 4, and 1/0 for 3.
