crazy fishing story (I hardly believe it myself)

Featured Replies

About 2 weeks ago, the fish were really biting at a small lake....  I hung a bass and he swam in a tree and I had to break the line...  I didn't know the weight of the fish- but just popped off he was a 10 pounder!!!!!!!

A few casts later I hung that same fish and pulled my shiny red hook out of his mouth that had been broken off... he didn't even weigh a pound....

Then, down by the dam, my backlash so was bad I had to cut the line... the fish were really biting so I pulled the line in by hand quickly to get my spinnnerbait back... the weirdest feeling in the world happened as a 4 lb. bass struck that spinnerbait!!!!!!!!

My friend said what in the world are u doing???  About that time that nice bass jumped sky high out of the water, and I pulled him in by hand!!!!!!!!!!  all this happened the same day- go figure......... ;D

Good Story!!!

If I were you I would post the story in the Outing section of the forums. ;)

Nice story... had that same thing with the fishing line happen to me a few weeks ago and started pulling it in by hand and had a fish on but i couldn't seal the deal and he got off, nice job...

Happened to me once, my line was around tip of my rod so I was taking it off and a fish hit it so I pulled and set the hook with my had. Great Story  :)

Cool story.. I had a similar event happen myself, only I wasnt as fortunate as you to get the fish on the boat.

My buddy had a break off when I was back in FL on leave one time.  He was using a shallow crank and he pulled it back hand over hand and got bit...By his PB!  8 and some change!  His index finger was cut up a bit but he got it in.  Guess the whole errati ;c retrieve thing works, huh?   ;D

I don't believe it ;) ;D.
