Pond Jiggin'

Featured Replies

Today I went out to my favorite spot to see if I could catch some slob peacock bass.  I was throwing a 3/8oz white/chartreuse bucktail jig along the shoreline and caught 2 small peacocks.  I started jigging a deep edge and hooked up with a nice fish that made my drag sing that sweet song.  You know that sound that braid makes when it goes through sic guides(drools a little).  Well after a good fight I get the fish to shore and it ends up being a nice 4lb10oz bass.  Not exactly what I was targeting but it sure made my day.
