where to go in Ontario?

Featured Replies

5 or 6 of my friends want to take a fishing trip this summer to ontario. We want to fish for smallies, pike, and walleye.

Any body have any good suggestions on where to go ? Looking to keep in within a days drive from NE ohio. We are in our early 20s so nothing really expensive.

Welcome aboard!

I'll put a copy of this post in the International section for you,

so check there, too. We have several Canadian members and

some are from Ontario.

In-Fisherman just called this lake one the best places in the world for smallmouth. I can attest to that, and pike and walleye and muskie.

Lots of options for lodging, package deals, etc. None of them what you would call really cheap. But with a small group, driving and splitting expenses, you can have a trip of a lifetime without spending your life savings.
