Bill Dance Yum "dancing Eel"

Featured Replies

I've never tried them, but I've seen my friend catch a couple nice fish on the chartruse/white one.

i was pretty disappointed with this bait.  i purchased the bait and used it a few times only to catch one fish.  good idea though but hasnt produced for me

I used the Dancing Eel Jr early in the season in a small lake, and killed them with it. Not a lot of size but the smaller bass would hammer it.

It can't be that bad of a lure- Bill Dance catches a 4lber on every cast with that thing.  :)

One of Dirk's secret weapons, this lure has gotten him quite a few fish.  some pretty healthy ones too.

If you watch his show, it always looks like he is on the same body of water with nobody else ever in sight. Never see him catch small fish on anything. Wish I had a place like that to fish. :'(

Back to the lure. Great action but haven't had greatest luck with it,

even when they first came out years ago as Dances eel. I still have a couple of the first incarnations.

I could catch bass on a dry cat turd on the lakes Bill fishes ;D

3" Fat Senko, green pumpkin ;D

I have three of those things in my tackle box and they've never caught anything but weeds for me. I don't even know why I keep them. I could fit six "normal" crankbaits in the space they take up.

I too got suckered into buying the original Dance's Eel, I was young at that time!  That one was made from some foam like material.  Never caught anything on the old so never tried the new.

moloch16, that was the best comment I've ever seen!!! It's not hard to catch bass out of golf course ponds!! ;D
