Great first outing

Featured Replies

I ended up heading out for the first time yesterday with BR member BassNub and his friend here in Michigan. We were fishing a private lake and the water temperature was 45 degrees. We tried a variety of baits but were most successful using jig heads with various types of grub tails. At the end of the day we caught a total 40 bass including this 4 lbs 14 oz. The other ones were pretty small but it was sure fun catching them considering 5 days earlier there was ice accross the lake.

Hey thanks guys...The key was to work it slow off the bottom with some light jerks. Surprisingly this one was sitting in 5-7 ft of water. Here's another pic.
