Start of the Weekend of fun ( now that my boats out of the shop)

Featured Replies

So I had a pretty good weekend, atleast I got to fish this weekend now that the boat is fixed. I learned its a good thing to be sure the mechanic actually looks for a problem and that you sometimes have to insist they look again. Especially when your dealer is a good distance away.

I took my daughter out on Friday night. She caught a nice one and I lost a St. Criox rod with a Curado in the lake. Still sick over that.

We started with some schoolers because she usually just wants to catch fish. She eventually tired of that and we started moving around a bit to see what we could find. She did land a nice one with an Anaconda. She actually pulled it out of my bag because it looked "pretty".

Well eventually she got a little too cocky and had to go for a swim. She "slipped" and fell off the back of the boat. I had nothing to do with it!!!!

That is one fine largemouth, and your daughter looks more than a little happy

It doesn't get any better than that

I know just how you feel about that submerged outfit.

I have a Team Daiwa with a Shimano Stradic lying on the bottom of Cypress Lake.

I have the coordinates, but my bottom dredging attempts were to no avail (we now call that spot, "Shimano")

Looks like a great day to me! It is great that you have your boat back and that you participate in your daughters life! Sorry about your gear though! I lost a Kistler Magnesium Jig n Toag with a Revo STX on the South side of Lake Shipp! Anyone who finds it feel free to keep it, LOL!

Should have sent her down to look for that rod while she was in there!  ;D
