I was out on the river a bit yesterday and the fishing was tough, but the smallmouth that I did find were agressive. I only landed 5 keepers on spinnerbaits but when they hit it, they knocked the out of it! Fishing wise, that was one of the worse days I've had on the river in a long time, but their anger more than made up for it!

All of the fish had bulging stomachs so they're starting to feed heavily right now. My fishing partner caught one that was under 14" but weighed over 2lbs on the scale!

i never been small mouth fishing yet but i will when i land a jon boat. no pics of any? congrats on the day

No pics, the fish were solid keepers but not huge and I usually don't take pics of smallmouth unless they're over 18"
