Lake of the Ozarks 20 SEP 09

Featured Replies

Went out today, and FINALLY nailed down a reliable cove for some fish. I swear I was getting to think LOZ didn't have many fish in it. Anyway, I caught a 1lb 2oz crappie on a power worm, about 8 bass, including this 4lb 14oz largemouth.

Great time was had by all. My partner didn't catch any keepers, but he caught a nice 15 lb flathead on a KVD Crankbait (sexy shad).

We caught a bunch on a lipless crankbait (think rattletrap) but the bigger fish were all on dark colored plastics. T-rigged.

We head down to the Ozarks every year with my girlfriend's family. They take the tubes, jetski's, wakeboards out etc while I strap on a life jacket and float from our dock down the rocks and fish off the rocks. Always have a good day down there  :)
