What Mexican fishing location is "wife and daughters" friendly!!

Featured Replies

OK...here we go.

I was talking to my wife about a vacation as another 8" of snow falls today in the Northeast. I said I wish I was fishing, she says I wish I was laying by the pool with a drink. IDEA!!!! Fishing in Mexico, but I can not remember the resort that has a spa/pool/restaurants AND great fishing. I think Zona went there, but I can't find the episode.

HELP!!!!!!  :D

Huites and El Salto are very popular but I've not been to either personally. I have fished some of the more out of the way water but not necessarily better  ;)

Lots' of resorts in Cabo, but on the bass lakes other than Guerrero I don't think you will find pools and such. On Guerroro is Las Palmas Lodge. I have no idea how the fishing is, but they do have a pool. At Baccarac there is Lake Baccarac Lodge, and on Huites is Lake Huites Lodge. Both these are owned by Terry Hollan and are top notch, but the amenities there are built around the fisherman. Scenic, but no pools or such.

Perhaps Raul can come up with something.

Mazatlan Mexico.   Resorts on or near the ocean, plus great salt water fishing and Lake El Salto about 90 minutes away for bass.
