i was able to find time to make a few casts last saturday and the wind was brutal !. i didnt get any bites and i didnt stay very long , but man was it nice to be fishing this early in the year. looks like its gonna be warm again this weekend......

i cant wait for those temps here. it was 46 when i went out and only lasted 15 minutes lol

all the lakes are still iced over here in illinois, and the rivers are all flooded from the rains and melting snow. Im jsut patiently waiting.

Even here in northwest FL where it was 30s and 40s for the past few months, it is getting in the 60s now and even 70s later this week. Spawn should be kicking in by this weekend.

Been upper 50's so far this week and suppose to stay there through the week. So im hoping the ponds will thaw and ill get a chance to make a few casts this weekend.

Yeah, alabama now into the 60's - water temp rising into the 50's - if we double dip into another cold streak, someone would have to put me on suicide watch
