Unbelievable

Featured Replies

Wow. I just had my best day (numbers) ever. 40+ in a little over 3 hours. All on Rage Craws. I actually had to start using Space Monkeys because I ran out of Craws. Normally I would be super hyped up right now, but I'm beat up and sore. I had a real close call at about 7:30. A fish hit the Craw so darn hard it literally ripped the rod from my right hand. I somehow caught it with my left hand near the butt. That would have been $260 in the drink. I can't freaking believe that day just happened. I had three periods of about 10 mins. where I caught one on every cast.

Both thumbs are bleeding as I type this. My shoulder blades hurt. My back is killing me. Unbelievable.

Here are the two biggest of the day.

20.5" 4 lbs. 10 oz.

20" 4 lbs. even.

When you can say that you're worn out from catching fish....you've had a terrific day on the water

Many of us head out each time to fish only wishing we can enjoy such success and just think, you have the scars to show for it  ;D

Big-O- I LOVE YOU.

Hahaha this day wouldn't have happened without you. There's no better way to get confidence in a bait than this.

I have no idea. It had two golf-ball shaped knobs. One on the left, one on the right. Wierd.

Sounds like you had a fun day. Just remember that the pain you are feeling is good pain.   ;)

That second photo definitely shows some sort of irregular growth on that fish. He may not be with us much longer.   :-/

Congrats. It's always better to be worn out like that with great success than to be worn out and skunked.  ;D Well done.

Wow that is incredible. Can I ask what your usual numbers are like and if you fished before or after the cold front moved through. We had a a rainstorm fast and furious move through around 3 pm on Sunday in NJ and the temperature dropped at least 10 degrees or more.

You also fished furing a full moon phase.  I hear a lot about those rage tail craws gotta try em.  Excellent man, excellent.

(I had a crappy day on saturday, felt like my rod was melting in hands it was so hot out)

My average number per trip (2-3 hrs) is probably 4-5 fish. But, the average size is 3 lbs.

I like to fish 1-2 hours before the front arrives, then if there's no lightning fish through it. After the storms pass it slows down, but the fish can still be caught.

WOW! What a great day you had. I've had some days where I got quantity numbers, but not nearly THAT MUCH!

Congrats...Go rest up and do it again!
