Have any of you guys fished these finn.worms? I know they float but all the stores around me have  them on sale. I think they don't sell very well.  So maybe some of you can put some light on this problem. And the colors   ::)I want the stores don't have. Gander is selling them for 97 cent a pack!

When using 3x baits, dont mix it up with other plastics.

There are very few lures that are made with the 3x stuff that I like. One was the tube and the other was the jig trailer. With the rest I don't like how the stuff floats like a cork. I have used the stuff for carolina rigs and like real plastic lures better.

I've caught quite a few fish on these.  They last a long time.  If you need to reposition your hook it can be a pain because the barb will hang in the material.  

I love the Zulu's and the lizards, but have not been a big fan of the worms.  

I have a few packs of 3X plastics.  I like them alot.

Im not sure what all the names are, but I have several packs of the finesse worms in various colors.  I have the craw trailer in a couple colors, and a few others too.  The 3X plastics are best for me when I rig them to bottom bounce.  They work great for shakey head jigging, and carolina rigs too.  You can also use them as a topwater.  I have a wide range of colors ranging from metholate, bubble gum, and chartruese up to watermelon.  I always buy mine of sale too.

Buy em up!  Usually they are alot more than 97 cents.  

My 3x story.

It was a typical August in Florida.  Hot n muggy.

bought several different types in various colors.

Put them in my clear plastic utility boxes inside my tackle box.

Left tackle box in truck.

Went fishing next day.

Opened up my "new" 3x utility box to select a plastic.

discovered a puddle of multicolored goo.

Moral of the story.

This stuff is great because you get to carve your own custom soft plastic lure in colors that no bass will ever see.

I like some of them.  Particularly the finesse worm.  Use it a lot on shaky head rig.  Also like the Denny Brauer jig trailer.  

I saw KVD using the finesse worm on a drop shot on tv this morning, but I've never had any success with them.

Other than being hard to deal with sometimes,I really like the 3X baits. A little pricey but if you're looking for something that floats well,those get the job done.

I have several packs of the 3X worms.  I got the at the bargain price of .97 also.  They are great on a shakey head if you can spend the time to rig them.  They are a pain to rig.  The Bite-Me jig head is about the only head that I have found that makes rigging them somewhat ok.  The 3X worm is what put the Bite-Me ball heads on the map when KVD caught a 11+ fish using that combo.  Any of the shakey heads with a spring keeper will not work for this bait and either will the spot remover keeper.  The 3X worm looks great in the water.  Try them out and see if you like them and if you don't you'll see why the stores are selling the for .97.  I have never rigged one the water during a tournament I always go back to Zoom and Reaction Innovation.
