Want a way to break in a new rod? Catch a Peacock.

NICE ;D!

The Dobyns bait monkey attacked me on the way to you in :), got a 735 Champion as a pitching rod.

The 735 is on my list right now. I believe Mike picked one up also. The only reason I didn't buy one when that sale at BTD was happening is because I have a rod that is very similar in stats. After playing around with the rest of my new rods, the old one definitely is not the same quality. There needs to be another sale soon so I can buy one. I'm still surprised at how well those rods feel.

Yeah, I picked up a 735c during that BTD sale...wish I would have got a couple more at that price.  Man, do I love this rod...

Real nice Pea........I used to catch more peas than l/m in my backyard canal, all gone to last years cold snap, haven't caught one in over a year.  There are not too many freshwater fish that will outfight a peacock.  If I had a good shore spot I'd drive down to Miami for some light tackle action.

Are ther Pea's in Lox? The reason i ask is that my co angler hooked up on a spinner bait and said it was a big Pea'. The fish got off at the boat so I never saw it.
