WET evening!

Featured Replies

Woke up at 3 o'clock today and seen that it was warm so I decided to go to the lake and fish from shore for awhile. I was trying a new lc 78dd in ghost minnow. After about 30 minutes I stuck a pig! I would say somewhere between 4.5-6 pound range! I did not grab my scale or camera because it is in my jacket and did not wear it!

So after sounding like mike icanollie winning the bass master classic I was pumped up!

Then it happened......SNAG!!!! Now I am not a rich man by any means so the thought of losing this 17.00 lure was frightening, but more importantly I just caught a pig of a bass on it.

So after trying to get it out for ten minutes, off goes the boots, socks, and rolling up the jeans. The first step was cold, but after going I. To my waste it almost took my breath away! I think the water was around 45-48 degrees but it felt like 33!

So here I am up to my waste and still cannot get to it, so I did what we all have done before and started the ( I give up pull ) then all of a sudden the luck of the Irish shined down on me and the line was coming towards me. After some very gentle pulls I got the log in my hands and took back what was mine!

So a little wet but well worth the beautiful bass I caught... Happy St.. Patricks day!!!!!
