Hi, I want to know when you can't fish bass in usa.  I'm from canada and actually we don't have the right to fish them until 18th of june.... Is it the same thing for you or I'm the one who cannot fish bass.

Different rules to different areas. I believe New York and states around New York also have a "season".

Depends on the state. In Wisconsin, I cannot fish them until the first week in May. In Michigan, its not til Jun 1st. Each state varies. Best to go to google.com and type in a search for DNR in the state you wish to visit and check out there rules. DNR Department of Natural Resources. Good Luck and I hope this helps.

Each state has its own regulations, just like each province has their own. As far as I know, the majority of states allow bass fishing all year, but some of the northeastern states have closed seasons. In New York, I think our bass season opens later than any other state in the country, which is on the 3rd Saturday in June.
