Handheld GPS

What make/model of GPS do you use? What are your likes or dislikes (if any)? I'm basically looking for one under $200.00, any advice is appreciated.

I have a Garmin iQue 3600.  It might be a little too expensive but it's well worth the money.  With the tap of a few buttons it will route you right to anywhere you want to go and it verbally tells you how to get there and when to turn and all that jazz.  Pretty much impossible to get lost with it.  I've got it where it mounts right in my car but it also snaps right off and fits in the back of my pocket.  Takes just a minute to get satellites and then has accuracy within 20 feet.  It can navigate you on highways and roads and also in the wilderness or on lakes.  It's more of a palm pilot GPS when I think you're looking for just a GPS.  I suggest you buy one that can run on AA batteries.  That way you can just stuff a few AA's with you and not be worried about having to recharge it if you take off for a couple days.  Look at Garmin products.  They are all good quality and I'm sure you'd find them very helpful.

I use a Magellan 315. No bells or whistles but it gets the job done. You can get one for about 100 bucks. It is compatable with my map software from Lakemaster. I use it on lake Erie as well as relocating structure on other lakes.

I have a hand-held Garmin ETrex Legend

Has always worked fine for me. Enjoy the portability

as I use it in the truck as well as the boat. I don't live by it but they come in handy.
