Are the Trutungsten swimbaits available in Bassproshop stores?? Nashville?

Featured Replies

I am going thru Nashville this weekend and was wondering if the BassProShop there had any. And if anybody has been in the Nashville store is it pretty good?

I got my Tru-Tungsten, Tru-Life 4" swinbait at the Detroit store a couple weeks ago.

My store did not have any. I asked the guy, and he was clueless. But then again, he was clueless about everything related to fishing.

Don't know about the swimbaits, but I'm in the Nashville store all the time and I think its very good.  Way, way better than the local Dick's, or Gander Mtn in Knoxville. Other than Bass Pro, the only other store in the area that comes close (in my opinion) is Academy Sports-

reasonable lure selection, and they actually have good sale prices sometimes.

BPS is the only place that has the really specific, specialized stuff though.

They probably have them they might just not have the one you want. At the store in Charlotte they had a place for them but all were gone except for the craw color and bass color in the floating/slow sink version. Best thing to do is give them a call and find out.

I am going sunday so I will just wait and see. I have 1 at least but I would like to get a couple more. Even if I call and they have them they may be gone by sunday just have to wait and see. :)

Yes, they are I bought one there last Sunday.

To go a step further they are on an end cap right next to the reel counter.  As far as how good the store is I don't know I've never been to another one.  I do know they don't have certain items that other stores in the area carry like Dick's or Academy.

mrbassky...where are you traveling from? There is a Gander Mountain in Bowling Green KY that I like to make a short detour to whenever I go South (I live in Louisville)...Baitmonkey says you should make the detour if you are taking 65 to Nashville...

the bass pro here sold out of them in 5 hours the day they got them... it seems to be a hot bait and a lot of places online are out of them too

FYI I was at BPS yesterday and they only had a few of the 4" version.  They did however, have plenty of the larger size.
