What methods works best in this kind of fishing condition?  Lures...fishing methods?  Recently it's been cold, cloudy, windy and it's been tough.

And the water temperature is ?

dropping, I'm sure.

New England is just coming out of a similar stage.  Not quite the fall bite yet but close.  THis is a time to stick to your guns.  THe fish in my lake moved deeper.  Finesse Jigs and senkos prevailed. eventually.

in NY in these conditions you only need two baits

1 a spinnerbait

2 a spider grub to follow with

the fish should be activly feeding so the s bait will let you cover lot's of water and find them

the spider will catch the finiky one's

I wish we had those conditions here in VA.  I'm ready for the water temps to start dropping.  Lake I fish is still around 80 degrees.  Come on fall!!!!!!
