Going to Bassmaster U?

Featured Replies

Anyone going to Bassmaster University and haven't enrolled yet? I was checking the BASS website about the University information, and there is a discount. Mention the promo code FISH2 and you can be enrolled for only $99! Man, am I glad I haven't enrolled yet.

I would like to go but i dont know if i would get much out of it. anybody know what you learn and is it worth the coin?

Believe me Keepin_it_Reel, I went last weekend and it was the best fishing related experience of my life. I learned so many "pro's secrets" and little tricks to immensly improve my fishing, and if you find that you didn't get much learning out of it just meeting and talking to all the pro's is really cool in itself.

I can e-mail you my BMU notes to show you the in-depthness of this course if you want me to.

:)

I'm looking forward to my class as well but it isn't for a couple weeks.  Until then, I'll have to attend some local fishing seminars...

Who ever is going Bassmaster U. Make sure you take good notes for us that can't make it.

Yeah Will, take notes....lol.  I will be working a Fishing show the sametime BU is going on.  I will be comic relief on the HOG Tank this year...lol  talk about an opportunity huh?

WOW, I JUST GOT SOME GREAT NEWS. I KNOW THE KS FEDERATION PRESIDENT REAL GOOD AND WILL BE AT BASSMASTER UNIVERSITY WITH HIM. THE BIG NEWS IS THAT HE WILL HAVE ME HELPING HIM DRIVE THE SPEAKERS AROUND LIKE TAKING OR PICKING UP KVD AND IKE FROM THE AIRPORT!!! HOW COOL IS THIS?

You going to the Overland Park one Will?  If so I'll see you there.  Me and 2 other guys from the KSU team are going.  I live like 5 min. away from the place their having it.  If the weathers nice out we will be fishing Saturday evening on the lake at my house, your more than welcome to come over.

Yep thats the one! I am splitting rides with some other guys so I don't think I will drag any fishing gear over. Hopefully I will see you there. CGS2004, whats your Kansas City adress? My grandma lives in Kansas City so maybe some other time we could go fishing depending on distance.

Will

I'm at 119th and Woodland Rd.  From the actual Kansas City it's 20 minutes or so.  I'm not more than a mile or two from where highways K-7 and K-10 intersect.

Anybody going to the one in St Louis this weekend. I just signed up. I've never been to anything like this and don't know what to expect.

Thanks,

GK

Bring pen and paper to write with, expect a lot of info to be thrown at you.  And don't forget a nice sharpie to get autographs with too.  Oh, and a camera, so you can have proof to your fishing buddies, that you met the Pro's...lol ::) 8-) :o ;D

My daughter and I attended the one in Auburn Alabama this past weekend.

It was a fantastic experience and I would reccomend it to anyone that enjoys bass fishing.

Ike was the most entertaining and educational.
