As Hookem reported on the #400 thread, five more have been caught over the last few days.

This totals 15 for the short season thus far.    If I read write, one of them came off of a beetle spin.

There is gonna be a ton added during this spawn.

I gotta think it was his way of saying "no way I'm telling what I used!"  Or maybe he used a spinnerbait and said that to keep people off his pattern.  No telling... but the state record came off a minnow by a guy who said he was crappie fishing.  ????  We'll never really know!

 I wouldn't be too suprised if he did catch that fish on a beetle spin... I've seen some massive fish caught on those things... none 13.13 pounds though

Man, there's some nice fish being caught in Tx!  Maybe I'll take a vacation to Sam Rayburn next year instead on Tahoe...
