Finally Paroled--Thank you

Featured Replies

As stated previously, the thanks go to our servicepeople like you to keep things in order. I might have a good idea for those of us who do have boats. Is there any way that we can contact the USO or someone else to let anyone coming back home know that there is a fishing trip on hold for those who are back from a tour?? I know that after a hard few days at work, a day on the lake brings back a heap of sanity to my brain, can't imagine what it could do to a person who has been in the desert for months!! Me and my boat would be at their disposal on my day off!! I will research this further and get back to y'all!!!

Doug,

That is an awsome idea... makes me wish I owned a boat!!!!... here is what you can do if you are serious about wanting to do something like that.  Since you don't live near an actual Army Post just find out where your local Army National Guard or Army Reserve Center is and just call there and talk to the Unit Administrator, Let them know what you have in mind and then give them your contact information. It may take some time but the next Battle Assembly they will put out your offer and before you know it you will have soldiers calling you left and right for a free fishing trip... hahahaha us soldiers are cheap and jump at chances like that all the time :)

Thanks
