My home river

Featured Replies

Well looks like I'm going to have to stick to the ponds for awhile.  The river I fish has some problems. All these fish are washing up on shore dead, even some dead seagals and racoons. Were not aloud to swim in or use the water. It sucks!

Yikes...where ya from man? Has it been in the news or anything where you are at?

Wow,any explanation from authorities yet?Sounds like some big company along the river is dumping toxins in the water.Hopefully the EPA guys can contain it fast enough so all the fish dont die....if in fact thats what happened.

Well I live in Canada. Ottawa, Ontario to be exact if any of you know where that is. It's the Ottawa river that is having this problem. Were still waiting for the test results but I'll post them when I hear what the problem was. It is really weird to because it's only catfish that have bin washing up on shore so it must be something near the bottom of the river.
